Visitors Announce Upcoming Fundraiser

NCCS students received a visit from the cast of the Wizard of Oz last Wednesday. The Cowardly Lion is now living at Potter Park Zoo and is excited about the upcoming Warriors Classic “Serve-a-thon” on April 16th when the NCCS students will come clean up the park. For more information:

Pep Rally March 10 – Wear School Colors

A pep rally for the Boys Varsity Basketball team will be held on March 10th from 2:15 – 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Parents and alumni are welcome to attend to cheer on the Warriors!!

STUDENTS WHO DRESS IN SCHOOL COLORS WILL HAVE THEIR NAME ENTERED IN A DRAWING FOR WARRIOR WEAR!!

Homecoming & Spirit Week

Alumni where are you? You know what time it is! Time to compete in the annual homecoming games and show us if you’ve still “got it”. Join us on Saturday, March 20th from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Great Lakes Christian College’s Doty Center. Homecoming Flyer (7)

SPIRIT WEEK (March 15 – 19th) FOR NCCS STUDENTS:
Monday: Hollywood v. Hillbillies Day–dress in your best glamour or your finest “hillbilly” attire
Tuesday: Paper v. Plastic Day–dress in EITHER paper or plastic
Wednesday: Nerds v. Jocks Day–dress in your favorite academic or athletic wear
Thursday: Pirates v. Ninja Day–come dressed in either pirate or ninja garb (no weapons please)
Friday: School Colors Day–wear red OR black and white and show your school spirit

RULES: NCCS dress code must be followed. All attire must be modest and appropriate. Face paint is limited to small logos or designs (it gets really messy). No body paint.

Congratulations Varsity Boys Team

The Varsity Boys basketball team won the ACSI State Championship! They were also undefeated in their conference for the second year in a row!

Next is the District Semi-Finals on March 10th, 6:00 p.m. against Portland St. Patrick at Morrice High School, 691 Purdy Lane, Morrice, Michigan. The winner of that game moves on to the Finals on March 12th, 7:00 p.m., at Morrice High School.

NCCS is closed Monday, February 22nd, due to bad weather. The Hot Lunch form for this week is now available. The Varsity Basketball games are cancelled.

Talent Show

The 23rd Annual NCCS Talent Show is on Friday, March 26th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel at NCCS. Students who want to participate in the show need to return the completed ”Act Form” by March 15th and then tryout on any one of the following days:

Wednesday, March 17th 3:15 – 4:30 p.m.
Monday, March 22nd 3:15 – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 23rd 3:15 – 4:00 p.m.

Acts must be less than 5 minutes (including set up and take down). Students must attend dress rehearsal on Thursday, March 25th from 3:15 – 5:30 p.m. to perform in the show.

Apply in 4 Easy Steps!

Fill out the Student Application Form and submit the $25 application fee
Send in a copy of the student’s report cards from the previous year and from the current year along with the most recent standardized test scores
Have your Pastor fill out the Pastor Recommendation Form
Have the administrator from the previous school fill out and send in the School Administration Recommendation form and send it to the NCCS office
